Con Dao marine area has been introduced into the list of prioritized protected areas in the MPA system of the World Bank.
According to Nha Trang and Hai Phong Institute of Oceanography, Con Dao marine area has greatest richness in species and density of the organisms in Vietnam, with many primitive coral reefs, in recent surveys of the marine organisms, the world top ranking specialized experts can always discover new species for the world and Vietnam.

TRAVELLING AROUND CON SON ISLAND (VISIT TRE LON ISLET)

Departing from the tourism jetty, heading Northeastern part of Con Son Island, then taking a turn to another side of the island, making a stop to visit Tre Lon islet, then keeping the route heading Southeast direction. On their way, tourists can view the beautiful landscape of Con Son island, Lo Voi cape, Dat Doc beach, Chim Chim cape, Northeastern bay, Dam Tre bay, cruising by Ong Dung beach, Tre Nho islet. After almost an hour, tourists will have a short stop at Tre Lon islet.
