From Con Dao N. P. Head Quarter, tourists can come to this interesting spot by car, motobike or bike. This is the route suitable for those tourists who love hiking, nature discovery, sightseeing and relaxing On their way, tourists will pass An Hai lake area, this is one of two fresh-watered lakes providing fresh water for the whole island district. Tourists will be very surprised and interested at seeing a fresh-water lake right on the island offshore with all the fauna and flora species found in a fresh-watered alluvial area. It will take the tourists more than an hour to conquer the 577m high Thanh Gia mount - this is the highest mount in Con Dao archipelago.

Tre Lon Island is one of the best places in Con Dao to see diverse coral reefs and reefs fish. The island, which can be reached by boat within an hour, makes a good destination for a full or half-day trip with a picnic lunch on the small sandy beach

Bay Canh island, actually two separate islands joined in the middle by a wide sand dune,is protected on its north coast by a mangrove forest and coral reefs. This island is one of the major sea turtle nesting sites in Con Dao National Park and so is protection Department trained in turtle conservation. Mother turtles usually come ashore at night to lay their eggs.

East of Bay Canh island, and the only island other than Con Son that has permanent fresh water, is Cau island. This island/s other natural resources include an abundance of fest fruit, sheltered caves that are inhabited by Edible Nest Swiftlets (the Park staff carefully harvest the nests each year),and nesting turtles.

Beyond the airport at the North end of Con Son Island, is fascinating Bai Dam Tre. A shallow, nearly-enclosed lagoon lined with mangrove forest, Dam Tre offers good possibilities for nature exploration for the more adventurous visitor.

Bai Ong Dung is an attractive rocky bay on the North Western coast of Con Son Island, a one hour walk through rainforest from the National Park headquarters. The site of one of the Park' s Forest Proection stations, it has interesting coral about 300m off shore and long rocky beach that extends all the way to the headlands at low tides. On the way to Ong Dung you will pass Ma Thien Lanh Bridge, built by prisoners under French occupation.
